I'm very happy to say that Dental Alvarez is the latest proyect i'm working on.
The chief doctor here is Dr. Ricardo Alvarez, he likes minimalist design and loves architecture, you can see that on all the magazines on the reception.
I started working for them on his business cards, then after a nice chat we decided that his current site "bajadentist.com" needed a lot of work.
We decided to buy a new domain "dentalalvarez.com" and get a fresh start for the company, plus we are going to redirect bajadentist.com to our new domain, giving us two domains to attract more happy patients for the clinic.

Search Engines Trump Yellow Pages
It looks like search engines have officially trumped the Yellow Pages when it comes to customers looking for local businesses. Data from comScore and TMP Directional Marketing shows that this year more people are turning to search engines after last year's showed that Yellow Pages were on top.
What the Data Shows
While most people still use a variety of different methods to find a local business, the study found what people seem to prefer as their first choice for doing so:
1. Search Engines (31%)
2. Print Yellow Pages or White Pages (30%)
3. Internet Yellow Pages Sites (19%)
4. Local Search Sites (11%)

At this moment I feel very proud to be working the site of Acropolis West, the domain Acrowest.com was chosen to reduce the size in digits so that users do not have to write the full name, saving time and without losing its value.
Acopolis West is a company that has more than 25 years working in the granite, marble and woods business, they have worked for hotels, restaurants, churches, private residential and other projects.
Consolidated as a pioneering company in Mexico and the United States, offering design and quality in their work, as well as the possibility of being able to produce in series projects with the equipment they use.

Today I attended the presentation of Wilcom Embroydery Studio, it was very good, I felt like at the ISS, you could go to different conferences live, they spoke of the new features in the software and you could ask in the live chat and they responded in audio, as if I were realy there.
You could download presentations by Tomas Moore (strawberry Stich co.) And others, they had tips for digitizers, as well as tips to manage properly the embroidery business .
I forgot, everything was online and live. The site was functional, just the intro repeated each time that you came and went from one section to another "Skip Intro".
